Hello fellow Bees!! I have a problem and I need some advice. I jumped the gun and picked out my braidesmaid shoes prior to picking out all of my colors. Originally I was having solely a royal blue wedding. Now I am really stuck on having a black and royal blue wedding. The problem is my shoes. They are not a solid color. I attached a picture of them. Is it possible to have a black and royal blue wedding with these shoes or do they completely not go? Also if I kept the shoes, what flowers could I use?

Sure! I think these would be great! Go for it!

If you have long BM dresses, no one will notice/care.
Did you simply “pick out” the shoes, or have everyone purchase them already?

I’m leaning toward the colors in your shoes for my wedding (purple, blue, green – kindof peacock theme). And, I haven’t decided on BM dresses yet, but have narrowed it down to either black or different dresses that blend (purple, blue, green). So, YES! I think the shoes will work fine. I met with my florist and told her all that above, and she recommended delphiniums (pic below), agapanthus (pic below), and hydrangeas. I like roses, though, so I’m not sure yet. And I might go with something light, though, for the BM’s if they have dark dresses. Hopefully some of this helps you.
Thanks – you are inspiring me!

Are the dresses royal blue?
You can pick up any of the colors in the shoes-white, blue , green-all three colors in the flowers might be a bit busy. You could bring in the third color in the wrap like the first picture.

I think they’ll be fine. 🙂

Unfortunately everyone already bought them. I really did everything backwards. We planned the wedding and then had to postpone because I had to go to a school for my job. So know we are back to square one. LOL I learned my lesson the first time!! Thanks everyone for your help!!

@buffbee: I got them at Davids Bridal. They dont sell them anymore, which is why I jumped the gun. I didnt want them to sell out and then not be able to use them, so I had all of my bridesmaids buy them very early in the planning. 🙂
