I put a deposit down on a dress that I no longer want. I know for a fact that they have no started to produce this dress because my wedding is more than 1 year away, and the manager herself told me they don’t place the actual order until a few months before the wedding. I felt pressured to buy the day I was there, so I did (sounds stupid I know). I know found a dress that I am in LOVEEEEE with, and ordered that one instead, cause in my mind I’d rather lose the money on my other deposit than be miserable on my wedding day wearing a dress I hated. How can I get my deposit back?? Do you think they’d be willing to extend a credit to me for my girls to use instead for their dresses if they won’t give me a refund? The way I see it, they are not losing out on anything because my wedding is so in advance. I know it says no returns/exchanges etc etc, but I know that there is ALWAYS an exception to the rule. Having worked retail I know the ins and outs of sales, and I know that there is always something to be done. UGH….not to meniton the manager of the salon WON’T return my calls. I contacted American Express, but they said they ar unable to assist me because the purchase was made over 3 months ago. Who knew they had that kind of policy??
