My fiance and I were just discussing if we want to stay together the night before the wedding.. He said he thinks its tradition to not stay together (well this we already knew) but also to not talk the entire next day until he sees me walk down the aisle. We are both kinda clueless with traditions since we don’t really ever follow them!….. Is this normal not to talk at all that day until the actual wedding ceremony?? Just wondering! This includes phone calls and texts!

I don’t know about tradition, but my brother and SIL didn’t see each other or talk until the ceremony – but it DID mean making sure all the bridesmaids had the groomsmen’s contact details in case there were any questions or last minute things to sort out.
If you still want to talk to each other, it’s obviously not an issue, but given how busy you will probably be getting ready, chances are you wouldn’t have time for more than a quick text anyway!

I think that is a tradition (we’re not following it, though). Some couples send each other gifts or letters the morning of the wedding, though!

I’m pretty sure he’s right about the tradition – you would stay in separate places the night before and not have contact until you walk down the aisle.
Don’t feel badly if it’s not for you!
