No dont panic do some reaseach and stay clam. Ask your friends about their venues just take it easy you will find one.
You can do it! Check for visitor information in your city or county and think outside the box for a venue search! Does anyone you know have a backyard that you could use for your wedding/reception? I have done searches for other people. You have already stated that it will be an August wedding for about 80. I also have found many low cost ideas and resources. Where are you located? Thanks, guys! I am from New York. It seems like evryone books there venue at least a year in advance here, so I'm thinking of some "out of the box" ideas.
You should be find there are plenty of open venues in New York and depending whether or not you want to be in Manhattan will make all of the difference in the world. I can help you track down some venues just sent me a message and will be in touch.

Trying to plan a lst minute wedding for August. About 80 people on the guest list, and have no idea where to start. Will it be impossible to find a venue??
