I was gonna say etsy, since I have seen qutie a few and have been looking at those for myself also. I would look into local seamstresses to see if you can have something custom made. I may consider making my own, or having my grandmother make one for me. I have seen paterns at the fabric store and some nice lace also. Good luck with your search Smile

@Alumisiren  Ive got pics of mine, same one OldMrsMcDonald wore. My dress is not in yet, so its only the bolero, but it looks amazing with a dress- def check out OldMrsMcDonald pics, she looks beautiful and was my inspiration 🙂

Cant wait to try mine on with my dress!!;

( for me there size charts were slightly off, i had to send mine back to get a smaller size. i measured my arms and based it off there measurements first, and i knew when i ordered it that i have never in my life worn this size, so perhaphs go with your own judgement of what size you should order. In these pics its a little big, dont have any new pics of correct size).

@Alumisiren:  Here you go!  Mine is from and it is the Alia style, a little different from the one that @Jen51287:  got!  I am a size 22 and the XXL fit perfectly.

Oops, I’m sorry… Stupid me goes back a reads the whole OP AFTER making my post lol.  Mine was long sleeved so it doesn’t seem to be what you’re looking for BUT still take a look at David’s Bridal’s website.. they have a lot of cute coverage options 🙂

Beautiful dress by the way!

Have it custom made my a local seamstress. I searched high and low for a bolero and couldn’t find on that was “just right”, and if they fit, I coulodn’t always move around in them.

I ended up picking up some strech lace from the fabric store (on sale for $3/yard and used less than a yard!) and had it made for $30. It was far cheaper and had a custom fit which allowed me to move around and looked GREAT.

Another option may be to buy a wedding shawl?  I bought one at Davids Bridal for a dress I bought an an independant store.  It gave me the look I wanted without constricting my arms and I had little snaps on each side and on my dress sewn in (they weren’t noticable) so that it would stay in place… I am very embarassed by my arms so I was glad I did this.  I will saw that I didn’t have a veil… that would have been too much with my dress and the shawl.

Ooooh I know what you should get!! You should DEFINITELY consider the Bonny 1299 lace bolero. It is $190 on Best Bridal Prices and has free shipping to the USA. It’s got 3/4 length sleeves and is lace. It’s beautiful and was the best decision I ever made.

I got mine here:

It took about 3 months to come in.

Beautriful dress!  It emphasises a lovely waistline.  This is the one I’m considering…

Plus size bridal shrug, Ivory lace .Wedding accessory (4-options- shrug, shawl, twisted shawl and a scarf) shawl for bride

via this etsy store

But I don’t know that it would work with the lace on your top…

I think a bolero would look nice but don’t think you need one!  You look gorgeous in the pics you’ve posted and I think it’s good to show some skin!  Your dress is stunning btw!

I woke up on my wedding day and my arms were completely covered in hives!! (I think from stress!) i was devasted as i was worried they would be seen in sll of the pictures.  The makeup covered it and no one noticed a thing.  The stretch marks will not be seen by anyone!
