I am using rubber cement ... I have been told if you apply it, then let i dry to tacky, then close it it works well (it is what they use to secure subscription cards into magazines)
Awesome, that's exactly what I want and I wasn't sure if it was rubber cement or some other adhesive. I'll have a few samples so I'll make sure I test it out and get the right stickyness. Thanks much - I was going crazy trying to figure that out! :)
what about glue dots? i think there are non-permanent ones.
there's also repositionable glue dots that work pretty well...zots, i think they are called?
The sticky gum is called rubber cement and can be found anywhere that sells office supplies (grocery stores, etc). A tiny dab will go a long way.
Glue dots? I'll check it out; either one that'll do the trick and is reasonably priced works for me.

I am using pocket folds and instead of using a belly band, I decided to just have our monogrammed sticker on a piece of card stock and was planning on gluing one end to the flap.
I wanted to find something, kind of like that sticky gum that products have to keep things closed and yet doesn't tear the paper/plastic. Do you know what I'm referring to? Does anyone know what that gummy substance is called and where I can buy it (preferably online)? I figure I'll have that on the other side of the pocket, so when I put the flap with monogram down, it'll "close" but folks will easily be able to open it and not tear any of the pocketfold. Hence, the locking effect.
Thanks in advance!
