Your ring sounds like it will be perfect for you! .8 is quite a good size!! Plus the setting will add more finger coverage!

A .80 ct stone is not going to look small, especially in that setting.  It shouldn’t be the size of the stone, but what it represents.  Your ring is going to be beautiful no matter what!

I think the ring is really pretty in the picture you posted. Maybe check on pricescope or Whiteflash for hand pics. I also think that the stone size is great, so don’t worry!

@prettyinpink11:  Agree.  Just have to reiterate how pretty significant and gorgous that Verragio setting is.  The ring will be stunning.  There is so much more to a ring than just the ‘center stone size’.  Some/many settings are fluid artworks and, alone, are infatuation-inducing.

@KatyYoung:  I gave importance  to the quality over size

If size isn’t a priority, I wouldn’t sweat it.

A stone is only too small when it’s a negative number, which will then create a black hole that will suck you in to your doom. So I think you’ll be okay.

@Jabberwocky:  Jabber, plus, there must be enough density in that negative pin-head spot of ‘smallness’ to distort/react an event horizon, so that also.

I think that gorgeous Verragio setting might be what is needed to counter the negative density, just adding.

My ring is from the Parisian collection. Kept the rose gold though. Different style but the detail is so pretty on Verragio rings.

With a 0.8 and a halo, that’s a great size.

My center stone is 1 carat and I have size 6.75 fingers. I love my Verragio!

I think that will look lovely! I have a halo with a 0.5 center stone on a size 6.25 finger. Twist! I ALSO have shorter fingers, and the ring looks like a pretty good size. In fact, I picked it for the proportion. I think the extra 0.3 on your center stone will make the scale similar, or yours might look a bit bigger. (Sorry, my iPad won’t let me show you.) Love the setting too. Congratulations!
