    Has anyone tried any of these dresses on? None of my local wedding gown shops carry these but I really like them and am especially curious to see 8677 in person, or at least a pic with an everyday person rather than a model.

    Mori Lee's 1063 looks very similar to 8526. What's everyone's opinion on Allure & Mori Lee gowns?

    First of all, I LOVE Mori Lee gowns.  I will most likely end up buying one because there are lots of styles that look great and the prices are great too.

    Second, I have tried on the Mori Lee 1063 - I'm sorry I don't have a picture for you, but I will tell you that the part of the dress where the mermaid flair comes, there was a very noticeable seem, so it made it look like they just attached the bottom part right on to the dress.  In the picture it looks like the pick-ups cover it, but the sample dress I tried on did not do this.  So i'm not sure if it is supposed to be covered, like if you bought a new one it would look like it does in the picture.

    That being said, the fit was beautiful... gave me some good curves - I'm pretty straight up and down so if that dress could give me some curves then it must be good, and i almost wanted to overlook the seem issue because it fit so nicely.

    Good luck!

    Also, if you prefer corset back, Mori Lee has this one (style 4501) that is similar in shape and fit to the 1063, but didn't have the noticeable seem on the bottom.  It has a bubble hem which I thought was kinda cute and fun. I tried this one on too, and it fit so nice, just like the 1063, and with the corset back it could really fit any number of body shapes.

    Hi <span style="color: #81a026; font-size: x-small;">wahlstrombjoy, Thank you so much for bringing up the seam issue! I tried on one that's very similar at David's Bridal yesterday, and it also has that very visible seam issue and really bothered me. I guess now i can take that Mori Lee dress off my list..! :)

    I actually chose the Allure 8677 dress...I searched high and low and finally knew this was the one as soon as I tried it on. It fits so beautifully and I felt amazing in it, not to mention, it's gorgeous! I still have another 10 lbs to get back down to my normal weight (me an fiancee have been way too cozy with our nacho's and brew's lately... haha) but once I do lose the lbs, I know I will feel AMAZING. The dress is so pretty, I feel obligated to lose it just to show the dress off! hahaa... if you can try it on, you should. I will post a pict i took in the bridal store, once I get a chance, if you'd like.  All the other Allure's in this same style (with rushing) feel the same way. I just really liked the beading and the details on this particular style. Good luck!!!

    @jck2011:

    I bought the same one. I feel in love with it and then tried on others and they didnt compare. I have the same issue with sitting down. But a least it will give us great posture for the night...lol
