emleecapel:  To me it looks like they just need to take it in at the side seams so the bust is tighter and supports your boobs. The bust size itself looks fine- its not weirdly shaped on you or anything. If its not too late I would get it taken in, if it is too late I would get a sticky bra of sorts.

but for the record I never would have noticed if you didnt make the thread- it looks gorgeous.

Wow..it looks beautiful and it does not look big in the chest. It honestly looks just right. If you feel uncomforable, what about purchasing some of the fabric push up pads to have sewn in the cup to give you “a lift”?

It’s really beautiful though. Wow…just wow!

To be honest it doesn’t look right in the bust area. 9 days is plenty of time to fix it or I wouldn’t say this! Take it to another alterations place if u are unhappy with ur first seamstress.

I agree to fix it. It almost looks like the straps are too low?? Definitely fixable if you contact them ASAP

It does look like your bust needs lifting and more support. I had this same argument with my mother who said my dress looked fine but I knew my bust needed lifting. The seamstress sewing in cups my size and taking the sides/back of the dress in worked well for me!

That’s a gorgeous dress!  Let your dress regrets go.

I think you need a little lift.  That style of dress just isn’t going to support anyone’s breasts.  Have you tried one of those stick-on bras, like this: http://www.victoriassecret.com/bras/shop-by-size/invisible-push-up-bra-style-secrets?ProductID=4444

What the dressmaker said about how it was made for a different person is ridiculous.  She should alter it exactly the way you want it.

Honestly, my boobs looked the same in my dress until I sewed in cups AND got “cupcakes”, these silicone boob inserts lol.

Don’t panic, you have plenty of time! And I think your seamstress is wrong, there’s no reason why an off-the-rack (or preowned) gown can’t be made to fit you perfectly. Even when you order a new gown, they usually just order the size that fits your largest measurement and leave the rest to alterations!

I agree with trying another type of bra – you need a bit of a boost – and also it looks like the seams close to your underarm still need to be taken in. The back is stunning though!
