Don’t stress, you’ll have plenty of time.  Alterations can be turned around pretty quick, as long as your steamstress is planning for it.  You’ll be fine!

It’s cutting it close but you might be ok.  My wedding is also August and they told me to make my alterations appointment in June.  So, hopefully your dress gets there IN JUNE, otherwise any later it’s cutting it close.  Maybe voice your concerns with the store.  My store’s been wonderful calming me everytime I start to panic.

ETA: Hey! We’re date twins!! 😀

Nah that’s plenty of time no need to worry.

Most places don’t want to star alterations before two months anyway

You want your alterations to be done as close to the wedding as the seamstress can do it. After all, you want the dress to fit you perfectly, and odds are that you’ll lose a few pounds between now (middle of winter) and summer.

ETA: I didn’t understand that part about the hair trial?
