Ok...so my photog tweeted me today after seeing my dress that I had previously posted...he said that I shouldn't wear black at all because I'd get lost in the background possibly.  Gahhh!

The photos are on Thursday, which is kind of inconvenient, because I don't really have time to go shopping very much in between now and then.  Plus, if you read my last post, I'm less than a size 0 in many stores, so it is very hard to find clothes that fit me off the rack.  Crap...

So, he suggested something colorful and flowy...I have one dress option that might satisfy that (the strapless one...it is actually floor length)...and a more plain jeans/tee outfit with some sassy hot pink pumps and a bunch of bangles...OR I could throw caution to the wind and just wear what I had originally planned in the first place...

    Help! What should I wear?

could you pick two outfits and just change halfway through your picks?  that way you could do the jeans & white top and then change into the dress that you originally wanted to wear.  that way you can be in the outfit you want, and then also have others in jeans just in case the outfit gets lost in the background.  all your options are great, so i don't think you can go wrong.

Yes, I could do two outfits...I actually think I'd prefer it that way.  Despite the fact that I have zero time on my hands, I'm going to attempt to go to a few stores today to see if I can wrangle something new up...a dress that is "flowy," which is what my photog suggested?  I'm just surprised that he would have said that black was a bad idea...I feel like everyone wears black in their pics!!!!

HEY!  I have that dress on top!  Love it!  I bought like three of them.  Out of those three, I would wear the one with the black on top and the pattern on the bottom.  Although it's black on the top, there's color on the bottom for you to pop out.  When we took our e-pics, my photog. advised me not to wear patterns all over as it gets busy when they're adding in additional color i.e. the background.  Also, she advised me NOT to wear white anywhere near my face.  She said it really washes you out, and although she knows most people wear white no their wedding day, they don't prefer it when there's another option.  Browsing through my photographers pics, I found a girl who wore a dress similar to your's (the black and patterned one) and it looked fine in pictures.  She didn't blend in.

I'd go with the jeans, heels, & maybe a top in a different solid color. Maybe a top you already have that you really think looks great on you.  I would definitely try to steer clear of prints, since they can be distracting and may limit they types of photos you could do.

I'd go with the jeans and bright solid top. Is there a way you can do two outfits and also do the dress? I did something like that...a little dressier and then a little more laidback.

    BridetoBee2010 - I know isn't that dress awesome?  I literally wear it everywhere...best $20 I ever spent.

Mojito and emg - i know this is going to sound weird, but I never ever wear jeans/pants and tops...I'm going to keep my eyes out for a different shirt, but I really don't want to wear something that is just a plain tee...I'm big on texture and such.  I'll see what I can find...this is excruciating!

@Katiebug3017:  I love it!  I went to an engagement party wearing it and the bride to be was wearing the same dress in a different pattern!  I even talked my sister into buying one!

Along those lines, my friend wore a maxi-dress in a solid print with cute sandals and her pictures turned out really cute!  And, yay!  I know they have them where you purchased your fabulous dress!

Lol, they are your pics, so it should definitely be what you feel comfortable in!  Here are some tips from Mrs Daffodil:

I'm trying to figure out what to wear to my E-pics right now too, so I feel your pain!

I really like the jeans and t combo!  The colourful heels give it a nice kick. :)

I love the dress and the third outfit--I think you'll really stand out in both. Jeans are nice, but it might be a little overdone at this point. You look great in all of them!

AHA! Success shopping today! I found a new dress to replace the other two! I think....I'm going to wear this lovely green number...I'm holding up the FI's shirt (he was at work). And, this sounds really cheesy, but the blue and bright green are our wedding colors...I didn't intend for it to be that way...but I figured it out after I got home!

I think I'm going to wear the green dress for the most part, and then bring the jeans and creamy ruffled shirt/pink pumps to potentially change into towards the end, when it gets cooler outside (it is HOT here in FL right now...eeek)!

    So...success? Or not so much?

    :)

For my epics I wore a dress for one outfit and jeans a sweater for the other so the green dress and the jeans/white top are what I would choose!

LOVE the green dress, and I think switching into the jeans and tee combo at the end is perfect! We're going to be doing something similar :)

I love the green dress, but also the dressed up jeans tshirt combo.  I would definitely plan on a clothing change for the shoot!

Well, the eshoot was Thursday evening...I started out in the green dress, and then when we changed locations, I changed into the jeans and pink pumps!  I am waiting (im)patiently for some previews to come in!!!
