Time is winding down for me and I need to settle on flowers for my bridesmaids. I have a lot of them... too embarrassed to tell you how many...LOL!!! However, I don't want to spend a lot of money on flowers. I've decided to use silk flowers. I've made my bouquet which is made of peonies. I made pomanders for my flower girls using carnations. My colors are canary/sunshine yellow and dove grey/platinum. I think a single stem would be more economical for me. Any ideas???

Here are the pics of my bouquet and the pomanders.

What if you just had them carry two long stem carnations?  Since that is what the flower girls are carrying?

I was worried that the bloom of the carnations were going to be too small.... they are only 3"..... What do you think???  SN: They are really small in person. It took 48 to cover the ball!!!

Well, I can't say since I can't see it in person.  A friend of mine had her wedding a few months ago.  She had her bridesmaids (12) carry three long stemmed gerber daisies in her colors.  It looked really pretty.  I think what did it was just the simplicity of it.

Could you do one or three (I personally like odd numbers, for flowers;) peonies? I'm wondering if you could find some silk peonies that were dyed the color you want??
