jessica20141124:  OMG the chapel looks awesome!

One of our options for the ceremony is a MASSIVE church (FI’s church) that seats 300-400 people and it is 20-25 of us!!! I am only considering decorating the pews – maybe bows or organa or paper anters /origami something budget friendly because it isthe only thing that would be in the photoes anyways ( I have seen pix my photographer did n the same church and you cant really see that it is empty cos she did the right angles).

( Holy molly I just finished reading your post NOW (my bad  for starting a reply withoutfinishing reading!) and saw that you are Asian, I did not mean to sound cliche with Paper Lanterns/Origami, lol I just chose these options for me as cheaper and festive looking! Just a coincidence! My cousin gave me some concertina style paper lanterns that look amazing so I am trying to hunt some white ones now! Oooh and maybe tissue paper DIY pomander balls!!!)

Do you have any traditional decor used in your culture? would be lovely to include that!

I would not worry about it looking too empty, after all no decor will make it more full, and the building has amazing look and feel to it!

I think it would be lovely to have a stand or two in the front with flowers, even if it is masonjars/lace with baby’s breath and decorate the side of the pews!

In your case I would totally decorate every row! I am seriously envious about your chapel lol!!

All these are goggled pix

We put roses on the pews.  We did it every row towards the front but then just every few towards the back (we got married in a church that was much larger than the number of guests we had too).  Instead of filling up the rows, I would have 2-4 people in each pew, so that everyone is towards the middle.  It will be nicer for your guests and for your pictures.  I think you are over thinking it!  It will look great and be a special, intimate ceremony.
