OMG youre brave!!!! I wish I had advice but I'm a wimp when it comes to high heels! good luck!
I would clean my house in them! I know that seems silly but you move so much while cleaning it is the perfect opportunity to see where they pinch and where your feet get sore - good luck!
Hm.. I'd keep the socks off, but I guess they would stretch the outside even more so maybe that's a good idea. You don't need to wear them out, but you should walk around the house while you wear them to break them in--sitting and watching tv won't put any pressure on them, and won't break them in!
I wear mine around the house and have been doing wii fit in them ;) Makes the workout better and also makes me learn to be coordinated in them better
I am doing the same thing with my shoes! I get home from work, throw on a pair of socks and my heels and try to make it as long as I possibly can with them on!
Good luck!
I'd probably wear the socks just 'cause I'm scared for blisters. However, if you're wearing them barefoot on your day, you might want to see where the troublespots will be. I wore my wedding shoes to work for a whole day a few months before my wedding. I got a couple of sore spots/blisters from them too. So then when my weddingday rolled around, I knew to put a preventative bandaid over those places and my feet felt fine all day - even with walking around for couples portraits!
@almostduffy - working out with stilettos?! You're the perfect stepford wife! Hehe.
@almostduffy: That is awesome - wearing your stilettos while doing the wii! :)
Thanks bees! I'm gonna wear them around the house from now until the wedding!!!
Don't wear socks with them unless you plan to wear socks on your wedding day. Wear them around the house as you will wear them at the wedding. To break in any shoes, you need to walk around the house continually for at least a couple hours, as with any pair of new shoes. Wearing them when you go out is good as well as long as you are continually moving. Walking around the store with them on when you are first trying them out before you buy will cut out a portion of the time you need to take to break them in.

Do you have any tips for breaking in 4 inch stilettos? I plan on wearing thin socks with my stilettos around the house as I sit and watch tv or walk from room to room. Do you think this is enough to break in my heels? Or do I need to wear them out-out?
Thanks bees! :)
