That dress is adorable and your girls should be able to wear it again. I think it'll go great.
thank you! one bridesmaid just mentioned it's not as "fancy" like most bridesmaid dresses. but i almost feel a satin type of dress (you know, the typical kind you would get: short and strapless) wouldn't go with my theme. I just wanted some more opinions, thank you though!
I think the dress does go with your overall theme, but I would be worried about it being flattering. It just looks a little sad and droopy. I'm not trying to be unkind, but I think you could find something better.
where are the dresses from? i love them & am doing the same theme =)
I think it's really cute and sounds like it fits your theme fine. Also, they can definitely get use out of it after the wedding instead of it just taking up closet space!
@kdebenedetto: love it! It sounds perfect and I would adore the first dress if I were your girls! It should make them happy and looks like it'd fit multiple body types... and they can wear it again later! :)

Hello! So I am starting to look at bridesmaid dresses and I need to know...is the dress that I have in mind too simple?
My theme is: Vintage & rustic
I will have mason jars and other bottles with roses in them, burlap and/or hemp cords wrapping around the bottles, our bouquets will be white roses and peonies, heart shaped wooden cut outs with our initials on them (J+K), bird cage, pictures strung on the hemp cord with clothes pins, etc. etc.
So we are getting married outside, at a rustic looking winery and a vintage/rustic theme
Attached is the bridesmaid dress I would like to pick. Is it TOO casual? I like it because of the roses and the fray along the straps so it kind of has a vintage look to it. Does anyone have good dress ideas otherwise?
ALSO: We do not have colors, as far as I know my fiance is wearing a dark blue suit like Paul Rudd in I love you man, his groomsman are wearing no jacket but suspenders and skinny tie, so my bridesmaid dresses can really any color (just not a blue, purple or green...due to his blue suit)
What are your opinions on all of this? Does all of this go together?
