i am having the WORST time deciding on whether to do a short or a long bridesmaids dress. first i was all about the long….but then i got a new wedding dress and it changed everything!! here is my dress:
i feel that because this dress is so unique/modern/’busy’ that a shorter dress would match it better. but i just do not know!! i see so many beautiful long dresses and i definitely thing a long dress is a bit more ‘wedding’ than a short one. ugh! what do you guys think? all you ladies with ‘busy’ dresses, what are you doing for bridesmaids dresses?

I’m a fan of shorter dresses in general. I think with your dress, you could find an awesome short dress with a fun skirt. A long dress would look too formal and not fun enough, GORGEOUS dress by the way!

Both short and long styles could work with your (beautiful!) dress.
What’s the rest of your wedding ilke? When is it? Where is it?
A formal evening wedding in a cathedral in early November in New Jersey probably warrants a long bridesmaid dress (and your maids will thank you for not making them walk around New Jersey in short frocks in November).
A rustic morning wedding in a seaside chapel along the shores of St. Lucia probably warrants a short briesmaid dress.
(but bear in mind, neither of these are absolute rules–just some basic ideas for a preferred direction)

what do you guys think of this?? it’s long so i like that…and i feel that the little embellishment ties it in with my dress since mine has so much embellishment. thoughts?! all girls would be wearing the same one. all of my bridesmaids are thin with great figures! cant see it well but the color is SANGRIA. it is a Bill Levkoff dress #191
