Check out any of the Wedgewood Banquet locations (Glen Ivy, Fallbrook, Ventura, etc. They’re an all-inclusive type venue and your budget can range anywhere from 5K to 30K+. Definitely worth a try.

Look into community centers or park recreation centers.  Most of them are only available for scheduled visits during the week.

If that not possible, go during the weekend to look around and see if you like it.

<br />The ones we were looking at that are pretty are the buena park on and Torrance Cultural arts center.  Bad thing is that Torrance Cultural Arts center asks that caterer be insured.

I don’t know what your budget is but after looking at what these nice places look are plus catering( FYI I want a seated dinner) we went back to looking at country clubs.

Go in with a set budget and be willing to do sundays and maybe off-season dates.  They will be more willing to work with you.

Marina Village in San Diego! They’ve got rooms to accomodate any size, small or large, provide the tables and chairs, and let you do your own thing with everything else!

That’s where we booked our venue, although we did it through their onsite catering company so we’ve got everything covered, but budget wise I’d totally look into them for just the space!

WHOOPS! Just realized you’re looking in Ventura/LA. A little too far south, but still an option for other brides. Good luck with your search.
