Jaqulenep:  I ordered a dress on Etsy. So far, everything has been smooth sailing thus far but I did order one of the sellers most popular dresses (from her reviews) so I don’t expect a lot of issues. It ships next week so I’ll let you know what happens!!

Jaqulenep:  No problem. Just got word that it shipped last night so it should be in about 3 days.

I ordered off of Etsy, there are some very talented dress makers on there. I did not feel comfortable ordering off Ebay.

Just remember, what you see is what you get. And you get what you pay for. My dress came out wonderfully. Always read their reviews!

I ordered a dress through Ebay.  My dress is an Ann Barge sample which I purchased from YourDreamDress.com. They buy and resell designer sample dresses.  The dress came in a clear garment bag wrapped in blue tissue paper and well packaged.  It showed no visible signs of wear.  They offered the option of a return in 3 days if the dress wasn’t for me.  I cannot say enough nice things about them.  And would recommend purchasing a dress through them to anyone looking for a designer dress.

I bought my dress on Ebay. It was purchased from a woman in Canada who bought it for a wedding that she wound up having at city hall. It was never worn and still had tags attached. It was listed for 550 but I offered 500 and it was mine. To be clear, this was a very particular dress that I had wanted and couldn’t find anywhere. It was my dream dress, so I lept at the purchase. I couldn’t be happier, but my example was buying from the owner and not a dress that has had unknown owners and was on sale for consignment.

I’ve bought multiple dresses off ebay. Not wedding dresses, but I have bought prom/pageant/bridesmaid gowns. For me I was lucky because I got designer gowns that had been used once or never worn at all for great deals. Before you decide to go that route though, make sure that the seller has a return policy otherwise you may end up SOL if the gown isn’t what you thought it would be.

Jaqulenep:  I ordered my Wedding dress through Ebay which has a largest collection of Designer dresses. Also my wedding planners in chennai suggested me to go with Ebay because of its Return policy. I am happy that i have ordered off Ebay. My Wedding dress really looks gorgeous. So, i suggest you to go with Ebay confidently.

Jaqulenep:  I ordered my dress off Ebay! But I’m sort an exception, because it was actually an antique gown I bought from a woman who was closing her bridal store across the country and selling off the gowns on Ebay. I got the dress extremely cheap, but it does still need work, which I am having done locally. I would not have bought a new dress, probably, or a very expensive dress. But it was perfect for me. Have you read these great articles about buying Ebay dresses by Mrs. Tulip? Good luck!

Part 1 and Part 2

I ordered 2 and they were GREAT. I resold them as they didn’t fit how I wanted. You can get a real steal
