I don’t know the first thing about flowers but I am trying to find out what types of flowers are in this bouquet (both type and color) so I can explain it to my florist over the phone without sounding like an idiot. She hasn’t been responding to emails (ugh) so I figure I need to call her up soon and just ask. If anyone can suggest alternatives that might work if the flowers are super expensive or out of season that would be amazing too!

Thanks so much to anyone who can help…

There is a at least one florist Bee, so hopefully she will see your post.

We should have a megathread for flower IDs.

#7 is button feverfew. I also see rice flower, between 6 (which is a scabiosa pod – there is also scabiosa flower, not present in this bouquet), 7, and 3. I’m also pretty sure 8 is a regular red peony, fully open.

No seriously, I am incredibly grateful that you would take the time to help me out, I very much appreciate it!

#5 could also be a ranunculus. (the orange flower on the left, not the pink one)

greensnapdragon: Yeah, the peony is hard to tell since there is so little of it to see.
