I have full, thick bangs. I uploaded a wedding pic and a normal, everyday one.
I've had the bangs for years now, so it felt more like "me" to keep them for the wedding. I tried to grow them out but felt weird and cut them again.
Oh you look gorgeous!I don't think I could pull off an up do though, I plan to have my hair down, I have long, loose curly hair...
I love how yours is slick and chic though, that's the kind of thing I was going for.
I have thick, full bangs too, and I'm planning on wearing it down, kind of like this. Jenny's bangs are kind of sideswept, but not really, and it would still hide any kind of frown marks.

I love Jenny Lewis so much. If only I were tiny, and a redhead!
Zooey Deschanel also has amazing bangs.

I think they are SO CUTE! I got my hair cut today by someone new (just moved here) and we talked about bangs cause I LOVE them, but my forehead is more like a twohead... tiny, tiny, tiny foreheads are awkward for bangs.
Ooo sloth, that's perfect! Who is this Jenny girl?
Chilmer, thanks so much I'll go off and research Zooey as well.
KMSull, I wish I had that! I have a huge forehead, which is why I'm always trying to cover it!
Do you guys think I could get away with a headpiece of little flowers if I was wearing my hair down with bangs or would it look too busy?
It's Jenny Lewis from Rilo Kiley. She also has a few solo albums out.
@Chillmer: OK, so don't think I'm a creeper or anything.... but.... your bangs were my inspiration for a recent haircut! I just got bangs a week ago!
FSIL and I:

I don't know that I'll still have them next year for the wedding, but I am really enjoying them now. I was really scared that I would hate them, so I had my stylist start longer so I could still pin them to the side if I wanted to, and then we worked backwards. I'll admit it; I feel sort of sassy with them! And they do change the look of your face overall!
Also, I love headbands/hair accessories with bangs and sort of undone.
@Amaryliss, do you have any inspiration pics of girls with bangs and hairpieces at all? I've found them really hard to come by, especially with hair down...
Yours look awesome by the way, they really suit your face shape!
@Amaryliss That's awesome! I'm flattered, and they look really great on you.
what about these? i think its so cute! i just get so hot with bangs... and then my forehead sweats. lol
I have this one saved to my computer, so I don't remember where I got it from:

I love how there are soft pieces in front of the headband.

Also, thanks to you both for the kind words on my bangs! And I am stealing that last picture for inspiration. :)

I've got a terrible frown line and I really want to cover it up using bangs/fringe, but I wonder if I can get away with this, although fringes are all the rage on models etc, they go completely out the door in the bridal world. I'm really battling to find any inspiration pics, can anyone tell me if they think this is a bad idea, and does anyone have any inspiration pics of full on fringes (not side swept ones as they don't cover up frown marks) on brides at all?
