Depending on the style of the chairs, if you have the inclination, the time and a modicum of sewing skills you can make little slipcovers for just the back of the chairs.

Could you do a ribbon/sash around the chair back to hide the name plate?  If you could post a picture of the chairs, or even a similar chair and point out where the name is, you might get more suggestions.

Here’s a pic of something similar to my suggestion

I agree with jenilynevetteThe chaircovers should stay on, especially if you get the slip on kind vs. the self tie. Either one should stay. I would choose chair cover over just the chair sash because I think the sash has a more chance of slipping.

My friend has some chairback chaircovers that were made for her ceremony chairs -they just cover the back part of the chair.  They would cover it up. They’ve been used – but Im sure useable and she would sell them to you cheap- how big are the chairs? My email is [email protected]

@kdjess84:  You might be able to do some kind of signs on the back, too, if you don’t want to do a chair cover or a sash

haha I have no idea. Do you have a motif that you’re using or a monogram that you’re carrying through the theme?

Maybe you could print the monogram on shimmery cardstock, cut it out in a nice shape, and then use ribbons to tie it to the chairs?

I’ll try to make an example tonight of what I’m talking about to give you a visual. I have some extra lying around from my STDs

@jenilynevette:

Thanks for the link to the sashes. It’s exactly what I’m looking for. My question is do they come already pre-tied and I just slip it on the chair or is it just lengths of fabric that I would have to tie on individually myself?

Thanks.
