My huge problem is that i don’t know what color should i wear! I have pale skin and red hair. I’m afraid that I can’t pull off a white dress (and it would look cheap), diamond white would look too gray against my skin (and too cool for summer wedding) and ivory too yellow.
I’m in love with Maggie Sottero’s Carmen, BUT they do carmen only white or ivory.
Maggie Sottero’s Stevie in diamond white is second best choice for me if white or ivory doesn’t suit me.
Our wedding theme colors would be something like black&white&purple.
So what do u think? (Sorry, can’t resize those pics)
This is not Maggie’s dress so here are few pics of Maggies white (it’s quite stark I think):

I would go with the ivory or the diamond white. The ivory on that dress is a very light ivory and I don’t think it looks yellow against you at all. I think the white is a bit too stark white for you…then again bright white can be hard for a lot of people to pull off.

I think ivory looks the best on your skin tone. I don’t think it looks yellow at all, but if you want a white gown I would go with the diamond white. It has a sheen to it but I think it looks great against your skin and doesn’t look grey at all.

I’m thinking ivory, but I can’t see you too well in the white pic, and I think you can pull off the diamond white too.

I really like the ivory. It’s enough of a hint of tone that makes it not so intense. If that makes sense. I’m not usually one for stark white, and I think the ivory compliments your skin tone very well.
Oh and that’s a gorgeous dress. 🙂

i like ivory… mine is ivory.. but only when its a light ivory.. i have seen a darker shade ivory and im not a fan of it. but i think yours is light enough to pull it off

Gorgeous Dress! I also have red hair, and I found that ivory looked the best on my skin. I think the ivory doesnt look too yellow, and compliments you well!

I like the ivory best! The diamond white actually looks great too, though! 🙂 I think you could go with either one.

I actually felt the most comfortable in ivory, but bridalshop’s saleslady said that it didn’t suit me. When I tried diamond white and white dress I felt little bit weird, maybe cause I normally never wear white clothes, but that lady said that diamond white looked amazing. Then I asked my friends opinions and the other one said that i should absolutely go with ivory and the other one said that I defenitely should choose diamond white. So i’m quite confused here… but because u are so lovely and amazingly helpfull I think I go with Ivory! Thank u girls 🙂
I have this one pic of carmen in ivory where it looks little more yellow than the other pics, because we change lights to match our venue. So what if i end up wearing this dress in ivory and we have white tablecloths and napkins? Does the ivory look “dirty” against them (or does anyone but me even notice..haha)?
My english is not great, but at least u can understand, right? I’m from Northern Europe :]
Here is also my veil. Is it too white against ivory? Not sure if I’m wearing it though.
And what about the dress? U think it suit me or should I keep searching? I love the front of the dress but I’m a bit worried about the back… does it look dull? That train is little tricky too to pull up nicely that it doesn’t look like I have sack of fabric under my butt 😛

I would not worry about the dress looking dirty next to your napkins & such. Everyone will know that is not the case.
I prefer the ivory first and then the diamond white. Definitely not the straight-up white . . . At least we can all agree on that 🙂

I think the ivory is absolutely beautiful with your skin. Go with your gut — don’t listen to that lady! She may be very nice, but her bottom line is to sell dresses. Don’t worry about her, you look beautiful!
I like the dress, too. Seems to suit your figure very well.
