I posted this a bit ago and someone suggest a poll. Good idea! Hope I do this right. So here are the dresses. Getting married at a Music Hall 100 years old….reception at a country club. want that elegant, sexy romantic look. Mentioned prior I love both dresss and they do have similar looks. I think I like the 1st better but still think about the 2nd. On the 1st one i would probably add a bigger bow with a blingy broach in the middle and change the back to lace up to get that really “pulled in” feeling which gives that hour glass shape.
I originally ordered the SECOND dress then panicked for some reason?? But it is SO different. But the edges are a bit ragged (cant tell in the picture). The FIRST one has lace underlay which I normally dont like lace. But on this it seems to work. I keep going back and forth on these.
So here are the dresses. Please vote!

Well, I didn’t see that you had ordered #2 first…but I really love #1 on you. I feel like it’s more flattering and it’s sooo lovely on you.
With that said, the second does look nice on you. If you’ve already bought it, then I say stick with that one 🙂

I only read now that when you ordered the second one you felt unsettled. That means it does not make you completely happy and your wedding dress should make you feel happy without any doubts. I honestly like the second one better on you but considering the above and the way you speak of number one, it seems your heart is more with number one and I think you should choose the one that makes you happy.

Luckilcy when I ordered #2 the store didn’t submit the order yet. So I can still get either one from the store so nothing lost so far!

Both are pretty but I like #1 better on you 🙂
Post # 7
I think number two is super flattering on you!

Wow~ it is a tough choice! Both look amazing on you, so you can’t go wrong. If you keep thinking of #1, maybe that is just the one that touches your heart more. Are you thinking of which would be more appropriate for the setting? Don’t. Go with what you fall in love with.
If you’re not sure, maybe it means that you’re on the right track but you haven’t found the right one yet? Like, maybe now you know this is the right shape, but you haven’t found the dress that has it all?
Have you looked at San Patrick Eresma? Or the Edimburgo… they’re really similar to these two.
The only reason I suggest to continue looking is that I did the same thing… narrowed down to two dresses, but couldn’t decide. I bought one and then regretted it later. I ended-up spending even more money on the dress I finally fell in love with!
Not knowing your budget, I do know these both are available on PreOwned and Recycled Bride….
I’m sorry if I am out of line suggesting you keep looking! You do look fabulous in both the gowns you posted!! If you know one of them makes you feel fabulous, then go with it!

I like them both on you. I would suggest maybe going somewhere else and trying on different dress.. at that point see which dress you keep thinking about.. the first one or the second one. I did that and when my mind kept going back to one dress before the other (even though I loved both of them), I knew which one was mine!

I really can’t vote because I think both dresses look the same on you. So it comes down to which one you like best in and of itself.
On another note, I just wanted to tell you that you don’t have to change a dress to a corset back to get a pulled in look. A lot of dress, mine included, have hidden builtin corsets that do the same thing. If yours doesn’t have it, your seamstress can put one in for you and it’ll be way cheaper than changing the whole dress.

Hey thanks for the advice on the hidden corset. I really didnt’ want to lose the look of the buttons because on the 1st dress I think that is perfect for it. But I like how the corset pulls you in for that “look” of an hourglass. I will definately keep that in mind and if I go with the dress I think make the inside corset an option!

I think that the first one is gorgeous on you!!! You need to go with something that you’ll be at peace with and will make you happy though 🙂

I didnt read anything you wrote before voting, and I voted for #2, Stunning!
I voted #1 because I think the more dramatic sweetheart neckline looks lovely. Since you’ve already ordered #2, maybe you can have the neckline atlered to more of a sweetheart?

I voted for dress 1. I love the way it fits you. I am not a huge fan of satin (but that’s really my personal preference and it isn’t MY dress) either so that also made me vote number 1. Hope you can find the dress that makes you 100% happy!

I think they both flatter your shape, but #2 looks more sophisticated and IMO is far sexier than dress #1. With your sassy short hair, I think you need to steer more towards the “sleek and sexy”; you can totally pull it off!
