I have the most beautiful wedding dress and I can’t wait to wear it for both the wedding ceremony and all the traditional part of the reception [until after dinner]… but I am latin, and our wedding will be in Latin America which means: a lot of dancing, jumping, carnival…etc, so I have been thinking about getting a dress for the last part of the reception.
We are living in Europe and when we come back from the wedding, we expect to have a small cocktail party for friends and family who won’t be able to travel. So I would also wear the dress in that occassion.
I have found these 2 options of dresses, they are kind of conservative, but maybe that will make me wear it again? should I just get a more exotic dress and never wear it again?
My wedding dress:
Reception dress, option #1:
Reception dress, option #2:
and another one I love but might never wear again:

Your wedding dress is gorgeous! I love dress number 2, it seems like it would be easy to move in!

i LOVE the last reem acra dress!! but if youre going to dance a lot, and your wedding dress is already long, it would probably be better to choose a shorter dress

I wore a tea length dress for my dinner since my wedding dress was fitted. I love 2 because it is similar to my reception dress:)

Your wedding dress is beautiful!!! For the dancing dress I like number 1. It’s so fun! I also love the bottom dress but if you are changing from a long dress I’d go with a shorter one.

#1 seems like it would be the best and most fun to dance in. Very cute.
#2 is pretty but looks a little heavy/thick and has more pop-out potential.
#3 is gorgeous! But unless you shortened it it would also be hard to dance in. It might look beautiful at tea length, and then you might wear it again.

I also love how fun dress #1 is! I could see wearing that dress again. 🙂

Totally agree with kala_way

I also agree totally with kala way. #3 is my favorite though.

I think Option #2 looks much easier to move and dance in than Option #1 (just looking at the bottom half).

Thanks for all your comments! I am looking into the possibility of having #3 made knee/tea length. I think I will try to have it ready in my hotel room in case dancing becomes a difficult task with my ceremony dress, and if I don’t wear it, I will save it for our cocktail when back home.

#1 is so stylish and fun! Feathers are in right now! I also really love that reem acra dress! that was my second choice for my wedding, but its very pricey and very slimming!
