I have a ivory over blush dress so I was having a hard time picking mine too. What helped me was setting the bridesmaid dresses next to my dress & seeing what I liked. I ended up finding (what I think!) is perfect this way!

It sounds like your dress might have warm tones, and your colors are on the cooler side. Have you tried any warm colors with it?

It’s hard for me to believe from your pics that your dress wouldn’t look good with navy BM dresses, and a dark charcoal grey for the men.

cls9q:  That’s a really nice color combination!  You should definitely post recap pics, so everyone can see what they look like on a person instead of a hanger.

I would think that navy would look good, or a dark green. You could add gold accessories to the bridesmaids to help pull it together.

shawna.darling4:  I think the guys could go either grey or black- if you want a vintagy feel, how about a nice classic tux?  For gals, I think you have a lot of options- navy would certainly work, or anything that boldly contrasts the dress- jewel tones- eggplant, navy, deep teal…

Don’t stress TOO much about colors though.  When I started planning, I said I was having a navy wedding and that was final!!  LOL the only thing that is navy is the bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen suits.  The actual reception is all pinks, whites/ivory, and silver because that’s just sort of what has evolved over time.  ( a year ago, the one thing I would say about pink was that it would be nowhere near my wedding…go figure)  I happened to fall in love with this shade of garden roses…and things just went from there.  I later used navy for accents, like font color on anything with text… but it has taken a serious back seat to the other colors.  Pick out your favorite things, and you will always find a way to make them work together.

shawna.darling4:  I attended a wedding Sunday where the groom and his men wore grey 3 peice suits- so classy!!
