Oh men, I am all over the place with my color scheme! Or am I?
I am so confused and need your feedback! :)

My two main colors will be lavender and olive green. That being said… I don’t like lavender as a color perse, but rather just the flower. I will have a bouquet of lavender, fresh herbs (think of sage, rosemary etc), and olive leaves, so lavender and greens. I love the blue hues of the lavender more than the lilac tones, so I would opt for a blue-ish lavender rather than the real lilac/purple ones. I’m also thinking of adding some blue-ish hydrangea to it. I will also have big pots of hydrangea down the aisle as decoration, nothing else, just fresh flowers.
Our venue is a bit brown-ish albeit very light with bright blue windows. My dress is ivory lace with a powder/cappucino-ish ribbon. I think the ribbon of the dress, could match the inside of the venue nicely. The blue windows will match the hydrangeas down the aisle perfectly. And my fiance is thinking of wearing a dark blue suit (as I don’t like black) and a olive green/lavender/herb boutonierre.
All in all, this is a lot of colors:
Dark blue (only for the suit)
I created the following inspiration boards, trying to combine the colors. The ribbon of the dress is the one I have (not my dress though), but on the picture it’s a bit more brown, in reality it has a slight pink-ish tone to it. The venue’s outside and inside is also included. The rest is just inspiration.
Do you think this will work? Is it too much? Do I need anything else? I can’t afford a wedding planner or styling, so I would love your help and ideas! 🙂
