am getting married in a small chapel. My fiance wants it to look really nice. We are planning on making a center aisle and the table in the picture will be removed. We can move out any of the chairs in the back too. We are bringing the two white pillars in the back forward and putting one tall flower arrangement on each. I can’t really afford any other flowers. We are working with a small budget. Any ideas for how make this look really nice and elegant?
My sister said to use fabric to drape on the chairs up the center aisle. I am thinking of a backdrop that could cover up the sides in the back. The center part of the back looks fine to me. Also looking for something to do along the side walls. On each side there are three flag pole holders sticking out in between the windows. Not sure what to do with those? My brother in law said tie a pretty bow on them lol.
Any creative ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks 🙂

I like the idea of draping fabric up the aisle. I know you said you couldn’t afford anymore flowers, but what about rose petals? you can buy them from costco bulk flowers for pretty cheap. A few strewn up the aisle would really add something extra. Fake ones would probably work just as well, tbh. I also think candles here and there would help add a romantic mood. If you’re not okay with fire, you can get the fake ones and put them in pretty candle holders. I like this pic with candles in the aisle. I mean, I would never recommend fire that close to your dress, bu maybe the fake ones? And lastly, some greenery adds a nice touch and is a lot cheaper than flowers.

blessedbride407 : It’s hard to see the details in those pics but the first thing I would do is remove anything that doesn’t need to be in the room- all that clutter at the front.
You said you would have two flower arrangements on pillars at the front. One way to save money is to use something that can be moved after the ceremony and also used as reception decor. Another idea is to use a flowering plant instead of a floral arrangement- way less money.
Do you have any theme or “feel” you are going for? If it would fit, you could hang wreaths on the flag holders on the side wall. Or, you could hang your parents’ and grandparents’ weddings pictures (not always appropriate). If you want more impact han a small picture would provide, you could have the pictures blown up as engineers prints at Staples or any other copy place. You can get a 2×3′ print for less than $4. Glue it on to a piece of foamcore and hang like art.
