oh, definitely dark! It looks soooooo great with your skin tones! Seriously, the dark is GORGEOUS!

Not sure if it's the photo quality or 10 years of dying, but the blonde pics all look a little dried out/fried to me.

You could do some warm caramel or medium brown highlights, but I'd stay away from blonde if I were you. :)

I like the dark one best too. It makes your hair so much shiny and healthier looking.

Hands down dark...it's beautiful and very healthy looking. I also like your natural eye color. The darker hair color looks really good with your skin tone too. The darker also just seems more elegant to me.   Plus in ten or twenty years you may look back on the highlights and feel they are out of date whereas your natural color will never be.

I'd say with your skin tones, stick with warm browns, not sure what you meant by 'ashy' (in my mind that's gray, hahaha). Really though, the dark is gorrrrrrrrgeous on you!

Dark! If you weren't happy with it black- try going a really deep rich brown. Very pretty!

Definitely dark. It compliments your skin color and looks much healthier than the blond. You're gorgeous, by the way!!

    Ditto! Definitely dark!

Darker hair brings the attention back to your gorgeous face (where it should be!) as opposed to all of the attention being on your hair . . . yanno, sort of like the girl wearing the dress instead of the dress wearing the girl.  :)

And I totally agree with the pps, i.e., the darker color really makes your hair look glossy and healthy.  You're a doll!

Dark. Blonde is too much with your skintone. Because you are asian, i actually think it brings out the yellow in your skin! My mom is half korean and has super thick chunky blonde highlights--hers defintely looked better her natural black.

I like highlights, just keep them thin and subtle so they blend. I think the dark hair really brings out the features in your face =].

What about a very rich brown with some golden undertones? THis way it doesn't feel too dark, but isn't very light, also?

And yeah you definitely want to start transitioning NOW. I had red hair over December and tried to go back to my blonde for June and missed my mark by about 8 weeks. I was the "perfect" shade by August, but was still pretty brown in June. It takes sooooo long.

Not to beat a dead horse... but go dark!! I agree with pp, if you want to do something a little different you could maybe weave in a FEW medium brown caramel highlights... but the blonde just looks unnatural I think. You're beautiful either way... but with the blonde it looks like you really work at it and with the dark you look like you could just roll out of bed and be gorgeous without trying :)

You look beautiful in all of your photos but you look amazing with dark hair!  It just looks prettier against your skin tone.  Let us know what you decide!

I like the dark as well.  I think that it looks natural and brings out your skin tone the best.  My motto is that you should always stick with what your natural hair color is - always looks the best!

from a hairstylists perspective.... dark all the way. the blondes that are in your photos are just not right for your skin tones and actually make you look jaundous to be blunt about it. where as the richer dark colour, you dont have to go uber dark, even just a nice rich milk chocolate brown would be stunning. if you do go dark, get some rich light brown highlights put in.

DARK DARK DARK. You'll want to look back on your wedding pictures and while you will be in a beautiful dress, you'll want to look you.

Think about all the pictures of weddings you see from years past, one of the things you notice most, scary blue eye shaddow and outdated hair. While you may like your highlights now, you'll look back in a year or two and say, that's just not me anymore.

Speaking as a brunette that used to color my hair with very heavy highlights, I feel more true to my ethnicity and my culture displaying my dark brunette hair. I'll be able to look back at my pictures 10 years from now and know I am still the same person-without an outdated look. Natural never becomes outdated.

Dark is really nice on you, I would just maybe ask your FI what he likes too, and take his opinion into consideration.
