We are in the process of figuring out our transportation needs for the wedding day. Our ceremony and reception are at the same location and we are planning to do a first look and take photos before the ceremony.
My fiancé and I will be staying at the same hotel but he does not want to see me before the first look. My bridesmaid, mother and I will be heading to the salon for hair and makeup and want to get dressed at the venue.
The wedding starts at 6:30pm but we’re not allowed to be at the venue any earlier than 4:30. We are not sure how to transport ourselves from the salon to the venue and get the men from the hotel to the venue without us seeing each other.
Any suggestions on timing would be greatly appreciated!

@PinkPanda: I’m thinking this – have one BM and one GM on phone duty with one another, and have either you girls or the guys show up to the venue right at 4:30, and go into a dressing room or somewhere where the group can hide. And then the one person can call the other and let them know that the coast is clear to come in. So basically, stagger your arrival at the venue!

@pengoala: Thank you! Should our shuttle take us or the bits? I’m guessing someone will have to take a different car. So confused lol

@PinkPanda: If you guys have just one shuttle, I say send the guys over in a car, and you and your girls go over in the shuttle (mainly because you want to protect your wedding dress from mishaps of getting into the car, probably!). That’s what we did, and it worked out okay!
