I am having some trouble figuring out the logistics and timing of the day which is all at the same venue. We currently have 2pm as our ceremony time, which will be outdoors and have a recieving line follow. Then the FI and I planned to get away and take pictures (birdal party & parents included) between 3-4:30pm while guests check into the hotel or have some time to freshen up. Then have the cocktail hour from 4:30-5:30 (also outdoors right by the ceremony space) and recetion to follow until 10:30/11pm. The problem is that logistically the guests are going to pass the cocktail area and how can you “keep them out” until 4:30… Also, the FI and I wanted to do pictures at 3-4 because there is a chairlift that we wanted to go up and have pics that closes at 4pm while still being able to attend the cocktail hour. Anyone have a similar issue or have any advice?? Also, we do not want to see eachother before the ceremony so pictures before are not an option. Help!!
