    I am in love with rose gold and i love it even more with a halo. FH and I went to a local jewelry store last week to look at wedding bands and when i tried on a really thin rose gold eternity band, we both knew that was the one. It had a warmth to it that the white gold didn’t have and to me, it looked expensive. I know that sounds silly but since I have so much sterling silver jewelry, white gold has been looking kinda costum-ish. Even though I know it’s not.

    I much prefer rose or yellow gold to white gold when there are so many stones – I find in white gold the whole thing just melds together into one colour with a bit of sparkle (just my opinion!). I really love how with rose and yellow gold you can clearly see the contrast of each stone against the metal.

    I’d also go the smaller oval – it will look plenty big with the double halo!! I’d worry with the bigger one the whole thing might look a bit too costumey.

    @MrsLucero:  You should let people vote on multiples because otherwise your poll doesn’t make sense.

    @MrsLucero:

    18K rose gold is very peachy looking. It almost looks like yellow gold with just a tinge of something different.  Most people assume my 18k rose gold E-ring is yellow gold but they always do a double take and say “wait – is that yellow or rose?”

    14K rose gold is much more rosey/pink – I think it looks more true rose gold when it’s 14K.  my wedding band is 14k and there’s no mistaking it for yellow gold.

    Something to think about.

    @MrsLucero:  Here’s my set.  In this pic they look very similar.  14K rose gold does have many hints of hold it’s just more rosey
