I think you could pull off diamonds and pearls with a white and ivory theme - then pick one accent color for pop - either the plum or the the yellow. Personally I prefer the yellow for a summer theme. Found THIS.
I would probably go with a black and champagne color scheme to highlight the diamonds and pearls. Here are a few pix that I was able to find... HTH

I've been thinking a lot lately about having a Diamonds and Pearls theme. problem is I haven't found any pictures of good decor or ideas. Wedding is 8/22/10 (sunday). Still trying to narrow down colors, grey, yellow and white or plum and platinum. All advice appreciated!
