Ok, I need help. The first 2 photos are my table inspiration, and the next 2 are what I have so far. I don’t have a ton of money to spend on floral centerpieces, but want a few flowers. There will be tealights in the small clear candeholders. The picture frame was there for the table number, but I think its too large and doesn’t quite work.
Of course the tables will be fuller when they have place settings and glasses, and they will be rounds of 8.
What should I add to make my centerpieces better? A shorter vase with a couple flowers?Different colored candle holders? I need more ideas.

I like the purple but I feel like it looks more like a resteraunt than a wedding set up. Maybe switch up the tray and the vase? I’m sorry if I’m being too harsh.

@blushpink13: Thanks! I don’t mind harsh. I was trying to grab anything I had at home to get the best mock up, but something just isn’t working with the setup, adn I can’t put my finger on what it is.
Also, for what its worth, the linens are eggplant colored, but since my kitchen is yellow the photos have a weird tint.

@lollygagon: I think you are well on your way.
When you have a table of eight charger plates and add glasses the look will be more complete.
I agree that the frame seems a bit large in comparison to the size of the vase. Can you lay it sideways? Some frames have stands on the back so the frame can be used in both landscape and portrait style.
Rather than have candles in all three of the crystal glasses,I would try placing just one flower in the center glass. You could even use something like a small fern or a succulent.

@lollygagon: I love the mirrored tray you have! I think you’re off to a good start. The thing that jumps out to me is the vase is too tall. I would look for something smaller and footed like your inspiration pic. Short champagne glasses like this might work:
I’ve picked these up at garage sales and thrift stores for next to nothing. You could also post in your local Freecycle group to see if you can get them for free. Spray paint them gold and get some wet florist foam and add flowers. Fifty Flowers has a Purple Combo packfor less than $100 depending how many tables you have, I would also get some green fillers too. You wouldn’t need that many flowers to fill it maybe 5-10 plus the greenery.

@Goofball: Thanks, that’s a good point. I’ll search for something shorter for the flowers.
@julies1949: Thanks. I tried the picture frame on its side and it still looked large and out of place. I’ll have to find something else for table numbers
