I am DIYing my pocketfold invites. I used Tombow permanent double sided tape for adhering the pockets but once I put the inserts in some of the pockets have come apart.
I’m thinking of maybe using glue of some sort because I feel like the cardstock is too heavy for the tape. Anyone have any tips?

I’m a fellow DIYer…try using Fabric Tac brand glue…worked great on my DIY invites..or there’s another brand called Super Tackey? I think that’s the name and it comes in a blue and white bottle..also works good..good luck!

you can also try Permanent Dot Runner. They sell it at walmart. I know it sounds like what you used before, but its actually glue, not tape. Once it sets overnight, its permanent and will not come apart.
Look for it in the department where they sell glue dots and double sided tape and photo albums. Its in an orange package, called “Permanent Dot Runner”

Another vote for glue dots! The permanent kind!

If worse comes to worse, you could look into monogrammed stickers or something to keep them together!

I used Aleene’s Tacky Glue, but you’d have to be comfortable using a liquid glue.

@MsYankee: I’m extremely disappointed in the Tombow, I used it for my belly bands and it was useless. For my folders I used sticky strip (the rolls of double sided tape that have the red backing. The cutting is a nuissance but so far they’re holding up really well.
