I don’t think it looks outdated at all, it’s refreshingly different from all the others you see and pretty. I vote wear it!

Looks good to me… I think heirloom veils are a great idea. Much less imposing than heirloom dresses.

I think its a really pretty veil, I would never look at it and think it was outdated. But if you dont love it, it`s okay to not wear it! Your mom just wants you to be happy!

I am EXTREMELY sentimental. I say wear your mother’s veil. I’m sure it will look amazing on your big day.

I think it’s pretty.  Wear it if you love it!  If you don’t love it but want to honour your mom, you can have it sewn into your dress underneath some layers, or wrap it around your bouquet or something.

if you want to wear it, wear it.  don’t worry about it looking outdated, it is beautiful.

i am jewish and used my great-grandmother’s veil as our chuppah covering.

@janet.little.7:  I wore my mom’s!  It’s very similar to yours.  It was one of my favorite parts of the day….so meaningful and beautiful!  I don’t think lace could ever be dated.  My mom’s was on a Juliet cap so we just had my seamstress turn it into a comb.

@janet.little.7:  I voted other – I think it is beautiful and if I were you, I would wear it. But if you don’t love it and want something else, go with what you want and won’t have any regrets about!
