It looks like there is a dent at about 12:00 in your picture, and no, I don’t think it should be there.

I did notice the little dent right away before reading your description of the flaw. It is one of those little things that would really bug me even if no one else notices it. I would ask the seller and see what their response is about it.

I also see the dent, and it does not look right. I would definitely speak to the seller!

MissLibra:  I see it too. I’d tell them they need to repair or remake it.

The dent is so perfectly round that it almost looks intentially (then again it could have been hit with a round tip punch!) so my first thought was maybe it’s there so they can pop out that snap ring looking part to get the diamond out but for some reason that doesn’t seem right. Take it to a DIFFERENT jeweler and ask about it. If they say it shouldn’t be there, take it back where you got it to have it fixed.

I saw it immediately. I would contact the seller today, including the photos you’ve taken, and ask what the quickest way to remedy to defect is. Go into it with the attitude that the flaw is very easy to see and that obviously it was a mistake and the seller will want to repair/replace the ring.

I don’t think there should be a dent there. As PP said talk to a couple of different jewelers and tell the actual jeweler what they said. They should fix it for you.

MissLibra: it’s your WEDDING ring! it should be flawless until you put a flaw in it yourself 😉

good for the seller in making it right. A tool probably slipped In the process. 🙂

Oi!  Love the ring but like PPs have said, I’d contact the seller about it.
