Oh gosh...hmm...yeah I might agree with you that a blingier hair comb would go better with your dress - nice to match the sash. That being said, I don't think the organza flowers clash or anything, I think they tie in with your dress nicely, but the flowers are a little younger than I think you're wanting to look.
Maybe you can just be honest with her - tell her that it is a beautiful comb, but you were hoping for something a little blingier? From what I understand, though, the pieces that you've wanted seem to be quite a bit more difficult to DIY than the flower comb she did. Hope this helps! Beautiful dress, by the way!
I wouldn't tell her if I were you! It might mean a lot to her that you were wearing something she made!
See if you can add rhinestones to the flowers themselves (stickable ones from the craft store)
I don't think her comb matches your dress. I would buy the comb I want and have her attach it to the veil.

After I found out veils are too expensive for a flimsy piece of fabric I decided to take up my soon to be mother-in-laws offer to have her make mine. She recently sent me a picture of the finished veil comb. It is cute and well done, but it looks nothing like the ones I showed her I liked. I dont know what to do. What do you think?? Does it even "go" with the look/feel of my dress?? How do I tell her I dont think it is right?
