Will you be wearing a bra under it? If so, that may be all the extra support you need, and at the same time it will automatically make the dress a bit tighter just by the bra’s fabric.

Take it back – they need to take it in more. Also, they shouldn’t charge you for the additional alteration if they already took it in some – they didn’t do it enough!

At my second fitting, they had already taken in the top sides of my dress, but it was sagging – so they took it in even more. Now it’s almost like wearing a girdle, but hey – it’ll stay up! 

Also, I got a longline bra and will be using double sided tape just to make sure everything stays put (like my bra doesn’t creep up).

@mochamunkey:  ditto the previous advice to take it back. Just tell them that you found the problem after you were home and moving around. They need to alter it. You could also ask that the place some silicone tape inside the top edge- the same kind you find at the top of some strapless bras.
