Oh goodness I am so overwhelmed and all my bridesmaids can say is it’s your wedding do what you want!! ..My wedding colors are brown, burnt orange, and a moss green. It is a country wedding with burlap, mason jars, straw bales etc. I have purchased my maid of honors dress in fern green(which is beautiful) and planning on ordering everyone elses within the next week or so in brown but silly me never took into consideration that the tuxes are chocolate brown!! So last minute as always I decided that brown on brown is to much and want to change the color of the dresses. My delima is that I wanted my maid of honor to be different and I have a bridesmaid with red hair so I think the burnt orange will clash. Should I just suck it up and have all the dresses the same or make them clash with the bridesmaids hair. Also my flowers are orange and yellow so it might be to much orange…I am at loss!

@dupler42: You could have your Maid/Matron of Honor stand out in another way-order the fern green dresses in another style for the other girls, or have them all wear the same fern green dress, but have the Maid/Matron of Honor hold a different bouquet, or wear something else special to set her apart-like a different piece of jewelry or other accessory.

I think the brown tuxes and brown dresses will look great.
If you don’t want that look creativeplannertobee has given you a great suggestion to have the BM’s in the same color but a different style than the Maid/Matron of Honor.

Thank you so much. I have talked it over with my mother and we decided on having all the dresses the same but having the Maid/Matron of Honor wear different shoes, have a different hair style and have a larger boquet. I hope this sets her apart from the others because she has always been one step above everyone with everything that goes on in our lives.
