Aww, I'm sure you will be beautiful on your wedding day
We are all our own worst critics, so I promise that no one will be as in tune with how your dress fits as you are. If it was me, I would stop losing weight, at least on purpose. If you lost enough that you have to lace your dress as tight as possible, that already seems significant. I am sure you will look lovely in your dress without losing 5 more pounds.
On my wedding day, my dress was a little too big. I wish I would have had 5 more pounds on me to keep it tighter. Of course, it's really not a big deal if your dress ends up a little big, because i am sure no one noticed this except me. Also, on your special day, you really don't care about the little things like how perfectly your dress fits anymore. Everything will work out, and you will be married!

I bought my dress about a month ago and I have been dealing with alterations ever since. When I first got the dress, it would zip up in the back until it hit where my chest is; so the seamstress decided to put a lace up corset back in so it will lace where it doesn't zip. I have been dieting like crazy because the dress is fit around the stomach and I felt a little insecure in it.
So she finished the corset back today and I went to try it on. Turns out that I lost more weight than I probably should have because now it's too big. She laced it up for me and it still felt big, so I asked if she could tighten it more and she tightened it as much as it would go, but I still had to hold it up a little and it felt uncomfortable. Plus, it looked silly in the back laced up as tight as it would go, it was just a straight line of ribbon instead of the criss-cross. She then decided that she can take it in at the sides. My biggest problem is my chest. When I lose weight, my chest is the first thing that goes, so now it's so loose that even a bra with the most padding won't fix the gap.
Basically I want to know if anyone else has experienced this. I am so stressed out now because I am probably going to lose at least 5 more pounds before the wedding - which is on the 21st of this month. I'm worried that she will bring it in and it will lace fine at first; but that on my wedding day, it will do the same thing (lace up will look too tight) and it will be too late to get it tighter.
I can't stop myself from losing the extra 5 pounds because I will feel way too insecure if I don't. And gaining the weight back isn't an option at this point with the wedding being so close.
What will I do if I can't get the dress tight enough or to look right? HELP!!
