Hey ladies! I have a sapphire/diamond pendant and earrings that were passed down to me by my mother, and I’m looking for a ring that will complete the set. I don’t have the funds set aside right now to buy something “real”, so am looking for either a lab-created or CZ sapphire ring, likely set in silver since I don’t want to spend a ton. The problem I’ve found a bunch but many of the “fake” rings have stones that are either too large and look like costume jewelry or the quality is very poor. Since the earrings and necklace are very nice, I don’t want to pair it with a ring that makes the whole set look cheapy.
Anyone have any ideas? I knoowwwwwwwww lot’s of you out there are good at finding rings on the internet! 😉 I’m open to any style, I’d actually prefer if it was different from the earrings/necklace so that it doesn’t look too matchy matchy. I’ve looked at Berricle and Ice, but nothing there really caught my eye. Ideally I’d like to stay under $100, but would go up to $150. Thanks in advance!

Edit: Oops, just saw you tried berricle. Give me a sec and I’ll find something else 🙂
Did you try Overstock.com?
Also, maybe a pic of the set will help us find ideas 🙂

You could also try putting ‘sapphire ring’ into the etsy search and the filtering the search by price. I just did $20-$100 and came up with some really pretty rings.

I know this is a bit over your budget and not sapphire, but this london topaz ring is just stunning:

Go to a jeweler!! They can find you anything in any price range! And when I say jeweler I am talking privately owned, not a chain or mallstore, a real jeweler

I love this one that you found! http://www.ebay.com/itm/ESTATE-SAPPHIRE-and-MULTI-DIAMOND-STERLING-SILVER-COCKTAIL-RING-SIZE-8-L-K-/190745522507?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c6951b14b Too bad it’s a size 8, I’m more a 6.5 but can do a 7 🙁 I guess I could get it resized. It looks just like one of the rings that’s on my swoon list!!! :
I didn’t really think before to check ebay, but I’ll sift through there some too. Thanks so much for looking!

@bluespinach: That ring is gorgeous! I actually have the matching bracelet to that on my Christmas list on the rare chance that Darling Husband wants to splurge 😉 I didn’t see the ring though!

Have you tried Jewlery TV, jtv.com? I like the quality of their stuff and the prices.
Actually, I’ve become addicted to that channel. It’s my before bedtime guilty pleasure.

You may want to check with a jewler about resizing. Not sure if you can with silver.
Ebay is a great resource for jewlery. DH is an avid ebayer and he taught me to always deal only with sellers with ratings close to 100 percent positive and with a high number of transactions, ie over 1000. Also, be sure to read the comments about the seller before you buy. Ebay doesn’t always protect buyers as much as we think they will.
Gorgeous ring, btw!

If you find a ring you like that doesn’t have a sapphire, you could buy a lab stone for cheap and have a jeweller change out the stone. Or if you’re brave even do it yourself (I use to change out the stones in rings all the time when I was a teenager).

zales has a lot of rings that could meet your budget – including lab created sapphires.

I bought the top ring at Kay Jewelers for less than $100. I normally buy gold, but the sales women showed it to me because it was such a great deal so I bought it. I don’t see it online, but I am sure if you go to the store you will see i there.
