I voted for the plain band. IMO a plain band will allow your ering to pop and be the star of the show. A plain band won't compete with the ering.
the last one with all blue sapphires! it's simple enough not to detract but unique and pretty:)
Are the side baguettes tapered like on the band you posted or are they more flat?? I voted for the Princess cut one... I like how they are similarly mounted with the bars in between.
I like them all! I think they would all compliment your e ring beautifully! Sorry I'm not much help!
I really like the plain the band. If you want something a little more matchy, maybe something like this? You can customize the width. The site also has a lot of other options.

I know that the princess cut one isnt very unique - could you put alternating sapphire and diamonds in it? Like in your engagement ring - that would be really pretty!
I like the plain or princess cut ones :) I think the princess cut one would look great
I'm torn between the baguettes and the sapphires. Maybe BOTH!! Lol if you're into stacking, that would look beautiful. If I had to choose though, I would say the diamond baguettes :) Your ring is beautiful, congrats!!
LOVE the sapphire band- I want one!
(I also prefer a mismatchy look)
Second choice would be the plain band.
the plain band will be the most comfortable and offer the least fussiness (in the sense that you won't have to worry about it spinning). also, I think it would look really good with your e-ring!
but if you really want extra stones, I think the settings of the baguette or princess cut bands will look really best with your ring. however, if you don't get them soldered together, it might bother you when they don't always line up perfectly.
that final band -- the prong set one-- I think it would not be the best look with your e-ring. your e-ring has a modern style bar setting that I think would not look best paired with a prong set band.
@MissTX: I totally agree with you! The ring with the tapered baguettes was my first choice, too (hmmm, maybe it's because my e-ring has them as my side stones, lol), and I liked the all-sapphire band as my second choice as well. I think if she stacked them all, that would be amazing.
OP, maybe you could do the baguette ring as the wedding band and then the all-sapphire ring as an anniversary band? :)
Thanks everyone! This is my first post on weddingbee and I love how excited everyone is!!
Janie-janie: You make a good point about comfort. The plain band would work well for that. I'm a vet student and will be getting married after my graduation. I work a lot with my hands, and frequently have to wear gloves, etc. However, I usually wear my e-ring under the gloves unless I'm going to surgery. Thats part of why my FI picked the solid, modern design. Would adding another band with stones be really uncomfortable?
I love all of these rings! I would love to try each type on and see how they look, but I'm having trouble finding a jewlery store that has such a variety. What do I do? Would it be insane to order one at a time online and return them if I don't like them?
I voted for the plain, because I think it will really give your set a classic look, since your engagement ring is different (and fabulous, btw!) it'll help balance that part out. If you'd rather have one with stones, then my second choice would be the one with princess diamonds.
I like the sapphire band. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you don't want to wear he ering you still have an awesome and unique band. My second choice would be the plain band just because of the simplicity of it.
@Allison2013 holy cow, another vet student! I am getting a plain band that will go with my e-ring, but I'll wear just the band to work in. I just think of all the wear and tear associated with the job and I personally don't want to put my beautiful e-ring through it.
I think your best bet is to try to get to a jewelry store (I know how busy you must be!) and try stuff on. Even if they don't have the exact settings, try on plain bands and bands with stones, just to see how you like the feel.
@risingsun: Cool! Where do you go to school? I'm at U. Florida. I actually did put my e-ring through a lot of abuse while on clinics, and it still looks great, and passed its yearly inspection for loose stones. I just couldn't bear not wearing it! I probably should go try things on though...
I'd go for that baguette diamond ring for sure!! It's gorgeous yet simple.. I think it will complement your e-ring nicely, and it looks so delicate!
@Allison2013: My E ring has sapphires in it as well, and I originally really wanted a sapphire band. However when we went to try them on I noticed that it was very, very difficult to match the color of the sapphires in the bands to my ring, so much so that I ended up getting diamonds instead. Keep that in mind! I would go diamonds or plain. Also, instead of just going online you should go to a jewelry store and try on some bands with your ring, they look much different in person than you would think. Then you can always order one similar to ones you like online.
@Allison2013 I go to Iowa St. I'm not in clinics yet, but if we're doing something hands-on I wear a necklace with a strong chain and wear it under my scrub top. Oh, and I'm not usually a baguette person, but I think that band is really pretty and would go great with your e-ring!

So, my fiance picked out the perfect e-ring for me, yay! I love how unique it is, with baguette cut diamonds and sapphires on the sides. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble deciding what kind of band would go best with it. Any ideas? Here is the ring:
Here are a few ideas I'm considering:
A plain band: inexpensive, and I like the simplicity, but I'm worried it will look unbalanced with my e-ring.
A band with baguette diamonds: I like the classic look, but is it too much?
Princess cut ring: matches the main stone of my e-ring, but not very unique
Or sappires: Matches the sappires in the e-ring, but might be too much blue.
What do you think?
