I think either would work pretty nicely. I’d honestly take it to Michaels and play around with stuff. Very cool idea though.

I’ve never thought of fish bowls as centerpieces. I like them a lot! (Filing that away in mental prep folder). Definitely the round over the drum.

@TNYorker: Ahhhhh I see! Sorry! In that case–the first one. With the stones and the pink flowers. Very pretty.

@TNYorker:I actually cringed when I saw the title of this thread. I thought you were planning to put real fish in your centerpieces. I know some people do this, but I feel bad for the fish that end up dying because no one will take them home, or people do terrible things to them at the wedding.

Anyway! So glad you aren’t planning to do that. I just LOVE the first two photos you posted. I think it would look fantastic if you alternated between the two.

I love the one with the submerged rocks and floating flower.  It just looks more substantial than the other one and I love how simple and modern it looks.  You can’t go wrong with either though and I think drum ones will look fine with either.  Just do some cool experimentation.  I bet Michaels will have some wicked after christmas sales.

I like the first one more. The dahlias look so pretty in them!
