I am thinking about how I want to do my escort cards. I don't have a fun theme to tie in here. So I was thinking of having small envelopes with the guest's name printed on the outside and a small card inside printed with their table number. I'm pretty sure I've been to weddings where I've seen this done and thought it was so cute, but I don't know how to do it. I can handle printing the card, not an issue, but any ideas on printing the envelopes? Handwriting is out of the question and my printer won't even take a 3x5 envelope... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

I would maybe print on fancy (or clear) address labels and use those.  I have a very good printer, but it can't be relied upon to pull the very small envelopes through evenly, so the printing ends up not quite straight.

I have to print on the tiny RSVP return envelopes...and OMG it was a pain. I actually had to make a file in photoshop and print that wat because Word didn't support the size, or anything close to it.

    I wish I had a template - but I don't.

You could set up word, a new document - not an envelope...just change the paper size and then type it in that way..... you'd have to do oneby one...butit's not so bad.

Have you tried using a photo printer?  They are in expensive and take all sorts of sizes of paper.

Or you could print the names on colored paper, cut them in a strip and then glue them to the front of the envelope like a label but going all the way across.

Thanks everyone! I might use tberry's idea of paper cut to the size of the envelope or maybe the clear labels too, but I am a perfectionist and would hate to see the sheen of the label (I know, I have issues). Sweeney, I did try making a document to the size of my RSVP envelopes but it didn't fly. And it was way too expensive to have my print shop print the envelopes, so I bought a custom stamp with my address in the same font and I'm going to stamp all the envelopes, but that works because they're all the same. Thanks for the ideas! I love this site, everyone's really amazing! If anyone thinks of any others, please feel free to post them =)
