Hi Bees! I am decidedly UN-savvy when it comes to designing anything on a computer! I mean I am pretty darn crafty when it comes to handmade – but computers – not so much.
That being said I need some font help! I have some great wood frames for my rustic/country/western barn wedding. But I need things to put inside of them – PRINTED things god forbid…
I went to dafont.com and downloaded a few ‘western’ or ‘vintage’ looking fonts that would fit our theme. I need your input!
Which do I choose to use for table numbers, MR and MRS Signs, and all the other things I am sure to come. I need to pick ONE!
The Fiance likes the really western looking one (numbers shown)
Also – if anyone can help identify the name of the font that spells out ‘Just Married’?

Ok I went ahead and spent about 5 hours on photoshop just for this 🙂 I told you – NOT good at designing.
I combined his fave font and mine. Ya know…compromise…good practice for the rest of our lives.

I think your font design is GREAT!!!
I’m having a mildly themed Carnival wedding and found lots of fonts through font.com
Additionally, if you go to your local library and check clipart books – many times the name of the typeface is listed – that’s how I found a whole group of fonts to use.
While many might “look cool”, it’s best to try them out as they might not be the easiest to read.

Oh thanks for the tips…especially the library clipart books! NEVER would have thought of that on my own 🙂

dafont.com has that exact font under “western”. I’m not sure the name, but I believe it’s one of the first ones that comes up under that category. It may be called “circus” or something to that effect.
