    Hello Bees,

I was at JoAnne Fabrics today and bought a bunch of different sized swarovski crystals to put on the bows of these satin flats from Dessy Group. Help from any crafty Bees? Trying to decorate flats... : wedding 49398927132612478 1cpZEKzL F.jpg

Now, I have a couple questions.

    1) What type of adhesive should I use to apply the gems?

    2) Does dying the shoe have any affect on what type of adhesive I need to use?

Any advice would be very helpful.

    Thanks!

I just and am using E6000 glue for my Swarovski rhinestone shoes :). Not sure on the dye. Here is my one shoe we have done so far with the rhinestones and e6000. Ive even wiped the shoes off after 24 hours and the glue is AMAZING.

@JJsGirl_09:  Thanks so much for the info! It is nice to hear from someone who used it that it is strong glue :)

@MeganTacky2247:  I was thinking of doing them all sparkly but I don't know if I have the patience for it! hehe I am going to start with the bow and if I think it looks funny I will do the rest of the shoe.

dye them first- then add stones.  i reccomend e 6000 glue for strassing- it is easiest if you load it into an empy syringe, and use that.
