i'm not sure how big your wedding party is. mine's just me so it's easy. i'm going to my hairdresser (Hair Espirit, UES). he has stylists that do wedding hair and makeup. i got my hair trial done w/ Celine (touchable down do) and makeup trials with Elissa (more dramatic / glamorous, not the standard pink bridal look) and liked both. try calling them. ask for Saki
I recommend also looking into JAC Beauty. One of the owners was a weddingbee blogger.

And Laura Nadeau, who is experienced with asian makeup (she did Firefly, Daisy and Ant's makeup - Ant is asian).
Bee's had her makeup done by both of them for various events... she recommends them both. :-)
If the ones listed above don't work out, you can try Jennifer Ngo at Istana. Her rates are always very good.

Hi Bees! I'm having a bit of a stressed-out moment. I've started my hair/makeup artist search - and based on the reviews here on the Hive, I've contacted Ai Sakai, Sachiko Yanase, Reiko Utsugi and Sissi Chan. Unfortunately, Sachiko, Reiko and Sissi are booked, and I haven't heard back from Ai yet!
I had no idea that hair/makeup would book up so quickly - my wedding is 10 months away!!
Any other hair and makeup suggestions for artists who have experience working with Asian hair and faces? Please help!!
