@WhiteLeBlanc: hmm....I worry if this heel is a little too much on the yellow side, if you're worried about it matching with your dress. It is certainly beautiful though, and I am swooning over these louboutins!

It's just as hard for the rest of us to match colors online. It all depends on our individual computer settings.
Is there a store in Toronto where you could see the shoes in person? I wold try David's Shoes and Holts.
I definitely would not bling up the Louboutins if you buy them.
OMG, a 6" heel is a hard one to find.
If you do get those loubs, PLEASE dont gem them up. They are a gorgeous shoe, and woth a pretty penny. dont mess with what is perfect.
Based on that picture the shoe looks a little brassy for your dress. You would definitely have to see it in person though. Pictures can lie.
I have found some very nice 4" heel. Not sure if it helps.

Hello Lovelies!
Thanks for all your ideas. I appreciate them.
What about these ones? Do you think they would go? I'm not too fond of the flat gold rhinestones on them, but I was thinking of changing that? (see below)
Also, I'm a size 8 originially, do you think I should go for a 8.5?

Thoughts?
Thank you!
T.
As a bee who has blinged up some (very inexpensive) shoes, but is wearing Loubies on her wedding day (see avatar) please DO NOT mess with the very expensive work of art that the latter are! I love the Madame Butterfly and think they will go well with the dress. My opinion is to leave them as they come!
While I do love the first Louboutin's you posted I don't think they're approrpiate for the dress. I will say though that with the shot of the shoe that they give you it's very difficult to gage the color or to even tell that it's satin.
I think that given the dress, you should go with something simple but sophisticated at the same time. Maybe these?

Then if you want to add some bling please please please add shoe clips!
I plan to get the same dress in Ivory and here are my shoes. I will be wearing them with a baby blue ribbon tied around. They aren't as bulky as the look in the picture. They're italian silk and they feel and look pretty fabulous! Good luck!
I love the CL's you have chosen and also the ones lmonnett has posted, but I would leave them as they are... I think either with go with your dress as satin tends to display different tones in different lights.
I wish I could walk in a 6" heel! They are fab!
Do you mean me AJester2? If so I got them at peterfoxshoes.com The are called the "Shelagh" and they are in clearance. The "Alicia" is similar and also a beautiful shoe which was worn by woman in the hanging scene in the movie Chicago, and their shoes have been in Titanic. They are so comfortable!

Hello Lovelies!
I'm having a hard time debating about a pair of shoes I want for my wedding. I'm not sure if they will 'go' with my dress or not. I know a lot of people say, "no one is going to see them anyways", but I'm a little bit fussy when it comes to shoes & the style & of course, COMFORT!
So, here is my situation:
My dress is the "Aurelie" by Maggie Sottero in antique gold, which comes off a little like a nude/beige gold tone with ivory applique. (please see my actual dress below)
The shoes I would like to get is the "Louboutin Gold Madame Butterfly Pump" in satin. In addition to these shoes, was thinking of blinging these puppies up with some hand placing of swarovski rhinestones (which is a crazy addiction I have lol). I'm having a little difficulty thinking what colour gold these shoes come in. I've seen a few different pictures in a few differnt tones and can't decide if it will be too 'brassy' or too gold for my liking.
I also need to get a shoe that has AT LEAST a 6 inch heel and preferably a hidden toe platform. I'm having a HELL of a time trying to find any gold shoe in a decent gold colour. I've been looking online because there is NOTHING here in the area I live that have the certain look I'm looking for.
Here is the shoe I'm debating about (see below):
I'm torn on wheather or not these will go with my dress and I'm torn if it even really matters if the shoes match my dress or not?
If anyone can help me with my situation and maybe help me figure out what will be right for my dress, I'd really appreciate it!!
Thank you so much for your help and time!
T.
