Obviously, fruit, veggies, cheese, crackers, olives are easy.. here are some other things:
Bruchetta (crusty bread with a tomato, pepper and onion topping)
Hummus & Pita (you don't have to toast the pita)
Shrimp cocktail (if it can be "pre-prepared" it's served cold)
Pates (you can do veggie ones too - black bean spread, olive spread)
Caprese Skewers (mozzerella, tomato & basil on a stick) can be drizzled w/ balsamic vinegar
Those are just a few I have for now
Before panicking, is there any way you could rent an oven from a rental company? They arent SUPER expensive, you could rent a gas one that around me (in CA) is about $150-$200 depending on how many ranges you want. Check with your caterer and see if they would be able to get special pricing on one for you to rent.
if you cant, heres a yummy list of foods that dont need to be cooked or warmed:
bruschetta (tomatoes, mozzarella and basil or artichoke hearts with basil and EVOO), caprese salad skewer, endive spears with blue cheese and walnuts, ahi tuna on crackers with wasabi (or tuna tartar on wonton), chicken and apples salad on toasted brioche bread,
Definitely look into renting! My caterer actually brings their own ovens to events and they sometimes rent them to other groups.
The coolest party appetizer thing I ever had was a date filled with marscapone cheese, with an almond on top. Sounds weird but it was unbelievably delicious
The caterer could bring some butane burners to heat stuff in a skillet.I'm a chef and that's what I use for cooking demos. Also, you would be amazed at what you can do with a toaster oven!
I was going to suggest renting an oven, we're going it bc our caterer is basically working in a field, haha! It's not hard to do, lots of weddings happen without access to real kitchens, you'll be fine :)

We are having an outdoor evening wedding at a beautiful park in my fiance's hometown. We are serving cocktails and hors d'oeuvres for a couple hours and then getting married at sunset on the river. Yesterday I went and viewed the indoor shelter and found there in NO OVEN!! My caterer is from out of town and did not know this and I am a complete idiot and assumed there was one. Now we have to change more than half of our appetizer menu. If anyone can submit some yummy appetizer recipes that would work I would appreciate it. We are not using plates or silverware. We have 8 servers so the appetizers have to be more finger foods. (Or something on a toothpick or skewer) PLEASE HELP ME...I AM STARTING TO PANIC!!!!!!!!! Thanks!!
