You already have a stunning backdrop, so I wouldn't do too much. Get a simple runner and maybe to flowers to border it or something. For an alter you can really just use a table with a few potted flower arrangements around it to add color.
Is the wedding in the daytime or the evening? Will you be using the same chairs?
I would stay away from a runner. They tend to blow up with the breeze off the water, and you don't need the bride catching a heel and doing a header.
I wouldn't do anything tall, since you already have those beautiful trees framing the altar. I would probably do something with that fence- maybe drape garlands of flowers along the top. It really is beautiful on its own and doesn't need much at all.
yes i'll be using same chairs, different color sashes though. and i'm thinking 4pm to start ceremony
I would keep it really simple, since the backdrop is pretty on its own. So I would go with simple candles in vases. At 4 it won't be dark, but the glow from the candles will still be nice.
